My name is Vijil…

To answer everyone’s first question, I inherited my name in honor of my late grandfather, Virgil. It is pronounced like a candlelight vigil, and you probably will not meet another!

….

On a different note, can you recall a day that was perfect? I had one recently, it was no special day rather I cleaned the house, made a family trip to Trader Joe’s (anyone else’s favorite store?) and grabbed a coffee with my husband. We came home, made dinner and that was it. However, between the newly set fall air we were experiencing in Las Vegas, and the routine of a family grocery trip, the blessing of simplicity never felt more perfect. It is often days like this I say to myself “I am going to wrap this day up and put it into my memory box forever”……

As you may have already learned, I am a Mama to a sweet little boy and a wife to my wonderful husband of 10 years. As I have gotten older, I have become sorely aware of how quickly time passes us by. The small smile of a newborn as they dream, giggle of a baby learning to laugh, the curiosity of little eyes and speed of a crawler (or runner!) feel too precious to only have in my mental ‘memory box’. It was in the realization of these fleeting moments that Heirloom Photography LV was born.

It is my passion to capture these seasons of life for you in a timeless photo that pours emotion. Forever bringing back reminders of the small details of little faces, and bond between those we love the most in seemingly frozen moments to forever be reminisced upon.
